Dried flowers as design
Dried flowers are not second-best flowers. At Botanica they are the main event: papery seed heads, skeletal grasses, colour-softened petals, preserved leaves and delicate branches. The palette is different from fresh — muted, tonal, sepia, blush, stone and earth — and the forms are looser and more architectural. We design each piece as an installation first: how it catches light, where the shadows fall, and how it settles into a room over time.
Interesting installations for interiors
Botanica pieces work beautifully in homes, restaurants, hotels, studios and events where something permanent but still botanical is wanted. We make suspended cloud pieces, framed wall art, cascading table runners, mantel garlands, urn displays and large-scale vases. Because every material is already dried, installations can be built, moved, stored and re-dressed without water, refrigeration or last-minute delivery pressure.
Sustainably minded
We use real, dried botanicals and foraged material — never plastic or synthetic. Many stems come from our own cuttings, the hedgerows around Hampshire and the residue of fresh flowers from the Atelier studio. We avoid floral foam, use biodegradable mechanics and re-use vessels, frames and wires. A Botanica piece is beautiful because it has been allowed to age naturally, and it can be composted at the end of its life.
Weddings, events and keepsakes
Dried flowers are a wonderful choice for couples who want a relaxed, meadowy, wild or festival-style wedding. We create bridal bouquets, buttonholes, arches, aisle meadows, tablescape trails and confetti. After the day, the bouquet becomes a keepsake — hung upside down, reframed or simply left in a vase. The same approach suits brand events, workshops, gallery launches and private parties.
